The Virtual Journal of Terahertz Science and Technology is a monthly journal that contains articles that have appeared in a variety of traditional journals and that are related to the science and applications of terahertz (THz) frequency phenomena and technologies. The articles listed in each monthly issue primarily have been published during that month, but older ones may be included at the discretion of the editor.

Browsing the Virtual Journal
- Each issue of the Virtual Journal includes the list of selected THz-related articles. The author list and complete citation is provided, and each article is linked to the source journal’s web page for that article. The source journal page usually gives the abstract and a variety of options for viewing, downloading, or purchasing the full text of the article based on the policies of that specific journal.
Past and open upcoming issues of the Virtual Journal are listed at the end of each issue and also at the top of the sidebar within the Virtual Journal pages. The monthly issue links reference how many articles are listed in each issue which can be browsed just like the current issue.
The Virtual Journal is searchable on-line covering all the articles in the Virtual Journal. Use the search form available on every Virtual Joural page to initiate a search. The search will look for matches to your search term(s) from within the title, authors, journal name, abstract and keywords for each article and will return a list of articles that match your query.

Article Submissions to Source Journals
- Original manuscript submissions to the Virtual Journal of THz Science and Technology are not accepted; however, your article may appear in this virtual journal if it falls within the scope of the virtual journal and is published in one of the journals we watch. If you wish to submit a manuscript to one of the source journals, please follow the information on manuscript preparation and submission for that specific journal.

How to Cite Articles Appearing in the Virtual Journal
- When citing an article that has appeared in this virtual journal, the source journal article should be cited — the virtual journal itself should not be cited. For a given virtual journal article, the appropriate full citation for the source journal article appears in the virtual journal table of contents entry. The article citation information is also found in the source journal article link to which the virtual journal points, including the full text of the article subject to the access restrictions of that journal.
