General Requirements:
This position is responsible for the research and development of advanced active electro optic sensors.Current activities include the development and fielding of spectroscopic lidars and R&D programs that support leading-edge active optical, terahertz and femtosecond sensing programs.
This position will support our Manportable Phase 2 program.
Experience Requirements:
This position requires an MS or PhD degree in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics or related field and 10+ years of relevant technical experience, and 5+ years of management experience. The successful candidate should have experience in LIDAR development and preferably in the application of spectroscopic techniques to LIDAR systems. Understanding of OPO/OPA technology is a plus.
Skills required include: algorithm development, data analysis, phenomenology modeling, laser/spectrograph experimentation, and data collection. This position requires US citizenship.

This position will support R&D of advanced active electro optic sensors for our Manportable Phase 2 program. Current activities include the development and fielding of spectroscopic lidars and R&D programs that support leading-edge active optical, terahertz and femtosecond sensing programs. This position requires the ability to travel. There will be occasional field test assignments.

This position requires a BS degree in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics or related field and 3-5 years of relevant technical experience. The successful candidate should have experience in LIDAR development and preferably in the application of spectroscopic techniques to LIDAR systems.
