ACCELERATOR TECHNICIAN - UCSB
Institute for Quantum and Complex Dynamics
Assist with the experimental work for the Center for Terahertz Science and Technologies. This includes operating the accelerator that drives the Free Electron Lasers. Assist with the maintenance and repair of the apparatus, along with the daily operations of the laboratory.
Requirements: The most important qualifications for this job are the ability to learn quickly, and to use logic to solve problems that arise.
Note: Hours will be non-traditional; the applicant must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
$2642 per month.
