Will develop and evaluate new sensors & detectors devices operating in the optical, IR, and THz ranges using the following techniques:
1) Photonic Crystal Fibers (PCFs)
2) Long Period Grating PCFs for sensing applications
3) Terahertz (THz) spectroscopy
4) Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering.
Ph.D. in physics or closely related field & 1 yr. exp. in the job offered req’d.
