Teraview: Software Engineer
TeraView is developing ways to exploit TeraHertz radiation in many ground-breaking applications. We are currently developing a number of products that require highly-skilled, enthusiastic and energetic people to work in this dynamic company.
We are now looking for a Software Engineer to fit into our rapidly growing team of development engineers. This post will suit an experienced Software Engineer with a minimum of 4 years experience in;
Object-orientated design and development using C++ is essential, along with the ability to work independently when required, as well as part of a growing team.
User interface design and development experience under Windows XP using the Win32 API, or libraries such as MFC or VCL.
Soft real-time control of external hardware, by designing and implementing multi-threaded state-machines using various methods of communication such as RS-232, Ethernet, and custom controller cards.
Soft real-time data acquisition and processing at sampling rates of up to 10MHz.
Experience with data acquisition cards and device driver development for Windows XP would also be desirable.
The successful applicant will have a proven ability to work in small, multi-disciplinary teams, and will be capable of hands-on development from initial concept through to production.
