An opportunity has arisen within the R & D division, concentrating on pharma, security and other applications, as a consequence of ongoing success in attracting funding, and in demonstrating prototype products and technologies. Our systems are based on world-leading optically switched THz technologies, and we are developing alternative novel technologies and approaches. The Company now intends to recruit an additional team member to contribute to the R&D effort, to customer prototype development programs, and to technology development projects.
The ideal applicant should have a doctorate degree in physics or electronic engineering, specialising in an area of applied optics or device physics that has resonance with THz technology. Ideally with 3 or more years of post-doctoral experience, some of which would have been in a commercial R&D environment, they will have gained experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams, have a track record of R&D success in time sensitive projects, and have a proven ability to solve technical problems with innovative solutions. Experience of project management, and the successful generation and preparation of research proposals, would be advantageous.
